What InnoCap Was Facing
InnoCap provided fund management tools to VC firms via one-off enterprise contracts, with each client on a custom instance. Expanding to smaller funds was impossible without a proper SaaS model. They needed multi-tenant architecture, subscription billing, and an onboarding flow that let new fund managers get up and running without hand-holding from the sales team.
The Solution
What We Built
We rebuilt InnoCap as a true multi-tenant SaaS platform with row-level security isolating each fund, tiered subscription plans in Stripe, and a self-serve onboarding wizard that walked new fund managers through portfolio setup in under 20 minutes. Usage metering on deal volume enabled a usage-based upsell tier. Automated trial-to-paid nudges at days 7 and 14 drove conversion without manual intervention.
